ALAMEDA — The Raiders got some company for Jalen Richard in the running back room Thursday, agreeing to terms with Isaiah Crowell.
Crowell, 26, is a durable five-year veteran who has 3,083 yards rushing in four seasons with the Cleveland Browns and last season with the New York Jets.
Last season’s leading rushers, Marshawn Lynch and Doug Martin, are both unrestricted free agents and Lynch’s status is further clouded by a serious groin injury that ended his 2018 season.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Crowell could make up to $2.5 million on the deal, which was confirmed by the Bay Area News Group.
