The Las Vegas Raiders are undergoing a near-total shift in their linebacker corps.
The departures of Robert Spillane and Divine Deablo left a significant void in the middle of the Raiders defense. The team did sign Elandon Roberts from the Pittsburgh Steelers, but that was only one of two spots. The Raiders tried to make a move by signing linebacker Christian Elliss to an offer sheet, but the New England Patriots matching the offer left them scrambling for an alternative.
They found that option on Friday, one that general manager John Spytek and minority owner Tom Brady are quite familiar with.
