Cooper is the first of the team’s 10 draft picks from the 2015 NFL Draft to sign his rookie contract.
Cooper was selected fourth overall by the Raiders in last week’s draft. He played three seasons at Alabama, appearing in 40 games and making 30 starts. Cooper left Alabama as the school’s most productive receiver in their illustrious history, setting school records with 228 receptions, 3,463 receiving yards and 31 receiving touchdowns. The 6-foot-1, 211-pounder also ranks near the top of the SEC’s receiving record books in every major category, finishing third all-time in receptions, second all-time in receiving yards and first in receiving touchdowns while helping the Crimson Tide win the BCS National Championship in 2012.
