The Raiders signed two members of their 2018 draft class Monday - tackle Brandon Parker and cornerback Nick Nelson - leaving Arden Key as their only draft pick still unsigned.
Parker was the 65th overall selection in last month’s draft out of North Carolina AT&T, where he started at left tackle and was a three-time FCS All-American. The Raiders have been working Parker at right tackle, where he could challenge for a starting role.
Free-agent signee Breno Giacomini and returning players David Sharpe and Vadal Alexander are other candidates at right tackle. Alexander, though, will miss the first four games of the season while suspended for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
