ALAMEDA _ Defensive back Dewey McDonald has been added to the 53-man roster from the practice squad, the Raiders announced Tuesday.
Originally signed by Indianapolis as an undrafted free agent in 2014, McDonald played in 12 games for the Colts that season and was second on the team with 13 special teams tackles.
McDonald (6-foot, 220 pounds) played in one game for New England before being signed to the Raiders practice squad this month.
Raiders coach Jack Del Rio said Monday that safety Nate Allen was not expected to be ready to play in the regular season finale against Kansas City with a knee injury.
