The roster moves continue for the Oakland Raiders, as they have brought in a new kicker for their game against the Indianapolis Colts. On Monday, the team signed Daniel Carlson, formerly of the Minnesota Vikings, to take the place of Matt McCrane, who has been very erratic in the role since taking over for Mike Nugent.
During his time at Auburn, Carlson was a three-time First-Team All-SEC selection while handling the kicking duties for the Tigers, and was a second-team All-American as well. He kicked so well in college that the Vikings made him their fifth round pick this past April, but it did not end well for the two sides.
