DETROIT — The Raiders were sleepy and stagnant at the start Sunday, with their offense getting shutout in the first half of a game for the first time since the season opener.
But the Raiders turned it on in the third quarter against the Detroit Lions to take the lead. They couldn’t hang on though and lost 18-13 to drop their third straight game and deliver a crushing blow to any remaining playoff hopes.
KEY MOMENTS
* The Raiders trailed 16-13 when they forced a Lions punt and nothing went right. Neiko Thorpe was flagged for a block in the back on the punt to force the Raiders to start from their own 8-yard line.
