The Oakland Raiders got back to work on Monday, and were pleased with the return of two guys who have been on the shelf for the past week. Wide receiver Seth Roberts and safety Marcus Gilchrist finally returned to practice to open the week, and thankfully, did not suffer any setbacks.
Oakland expects Gilchrist to play a big role in their secondary this season, and he will likely be out there when the team takes on Green Bay Friday night. Roberts has his work cut out for him as he returns, as some wide receivers have really stepped up in his absence, and are doing their best to earn a spot on the 53-man roster.
