Wide receiver Marcell Ateman helped the Las Vegas Raiders improve to 2-0 in the preseason with a touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams in a 17-16 win Saturday night.
The Raiders appreciate the help, but Ateman felt the harsh reality of the preseason Tuesday as he was cut by Las Vegas.
Ateman was drafted in the seventh round by the Raiders in 2018 out of Oklahoma State and he bounced in and out of the program. It wouldn’t be a shock if he’s brought back at some point. But the Raiders feel good about their wide receiver room this summer.
