After missing the first nine practices of Raiders' training camp, rookie tight end Clive Walford participated in team drills on Tuesday, the team announced.
Walford had been dealing with a hamstring injury that he suffered during pre-camp workouts with rookies, quarterbacks and previously injured players.
Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio said Sunday that Walford is “very close” to practice ready.
Mychal Rivera had worked with the first team as a receiving tight end in Walford’s absence.
Raiders announce Clive Walford is back at practice. Story coming soon.
