Some mean media pundits were comparing Raiders rookie quarterback Connor Cook to Tyler Wilson the first week of training camp. Wilson, for those who have forgotten, was the team’s fourth-round pick in 2013 who struggled in training camp and was cut soon thereafter.
Well, Cook is not Tyler Wilson. He has gotten better the past few practices, captured best by a fist bump after a pretty deep pass to K.J. Brent on Saturday.
“That felt good,” Cook said. “I have been working on my deep ball, K.J. ran a great route and I dropped it in there.
