A Cuyahoga County (Ohio) grand jury declined to indict Raiders cornerback Gareon Conley on a rape allegation, only hours after the case was forwarded from the Cleveland Police Department on Monday.
The grand jury “returned a no bill on all possible charges,” the Cuyahoga County prosecutor said Monday in a statement.
Conley, the team’s first-round pick in April, was unavailable to reporters at training camp in Napa, as he is not practicing due to shin splints. But Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie was giddy.
“This smile tell you anything?” he said.
