The Oakland Raiders officially reinstated RB Marshawn Lynch on Monday and placed RB Elijah Hood on waivers.
Lynch finished serving his one-game suspension for contacting an official, so this move was expected.
Lynch, 30, signed a two-year contract with the Raiders that is worth $9 million and can max out at $16.5 million by reaching incentives after being traded from the Seahawks last offseason for a 2018 fifth-round selection.
So far this season, Lynch has appeared in seven games and rushed for 266 yards on 72 carries (3.7 YPC) and two touchdowns to go along with four receptions for 38 yards.
