Update:
The NFL announced Tuesday that Raiders RB Marshawn Lynch‘s one-game suspension has been upheld.
Appeals officer James Thrash, jointly appointed by NFL & NFLPA, has upheld 1-game suspension of Marshawn Lynch
This, of course, means that Lynch will not take part in the Raiders’ Week 8 game against the Bils.
Adam Schefter reported yesterday that Chiefs CB Marcus Peters spoke on behalf of Lynch during the appeal hearing. Interestingly enough, Schefter mentioned that Lynch argued that 9 players, including Aaron Donald and Taylor Lewan last season, made contact with an official, but none were suspended.
