Things can change quickly in the NFL.
And those change can have a long-lasting affect. Perhaps Sunday’s fourth-quarter explosion by the Las Vegas Raiders in a 26-23 win at the Baltimore Ravens (who were 8.5-point favorites) could be a season-changing event.
The Raiders were losing this game by 10 points in the fourth quarter, yet both sides of the ball came together (with help from some Baltimore miscues) and outscored the Ravens 13-0 in the final 9:21 to steal the victory and to even their record at 1-1. According to The Associated Press, the Raiders had lost 49 straight games when trailing by, at least, 10 points in the fourth quarter.
