With the 2017 offseason — the transaction period, in particular — just about wrapped up, NFL.com has released a fresh set of power rankings. The Oakland Raiders are ranked higher than what most might expect, all the way up to 3rd.
And I say “higher than what most might expect” because the Raiders generally aren’t a team that get much media love. But with a 12-4 record in 2016, a core of superstar talent to build around and a dynamic offense, they’ve actually become quite the media darling. So things have definitely changed in Oakland.
