The pinkie is overrated.
So says David Carr, brother of Raiders quarterback Derek Carr and current NFL Network analyst. Derek Carr injured the pinkie on his right hand Sunday, went to the locker room, and came back with a glove on the hand to lead a 35-32 win over the Panthers.
Is the pinkie dislocated? When Oakland head coach Jack Del Rio was asked that at Monday afternoon’s news conference, he said, “I’m not a medical guy.”
It was good to clear up that mystery, plus David Carr had cleared up his brother’s condition hours earlier.
