Risk versus reward.
It’s a battle that’s as old as the game of football, really. The promise of potential gains (reward) has long been alluring. But losing a part or all of one’s investment (risk) can be detrimental.
Thus, the notion of risk and reward isn’t supernatural when it comes to the Las Vegas Raiders. It’s as real as it can get — especially since the Silver & Black are having a full-on competition to determine whether Aidan O’Connell or Gardner Minshew is the face that runs the place on offense.
One of those two will be the starting quarterback — the all-important position on an NFL team.
