Raiders quarterback Derek Carr put on a helmet and cleats for Tuesday’s OTA session, but didn’t do much more. He was active during individual drills and participated in some rushing practice.
He only handed the ball off. Nothing more than that.
The second-year pro is still recovering from a right ring finger injury suffered this offseason, and wasn’t expected to participate in this OTA series. There is some hope that he’ll be active for a mandatory minicamp starting on June 9. Regardless, it’s expected that he’ll be throwing without restriction when the Raiders start training camp in July.
