ALAMEDA, Calif. – Oakland Raiders QB Derek Carr was named to his third Pro Bowl, the NFL announced Monday. Carr, who was selected as an alternate, replaces Patriots QB Tom Brady.
Carr joins teammates C Rodney Hudson, DE Khalil Mack, G/T Kelechi Osemele and T Donald Penn as Raiders Pro Bowlers, giving the team five selections to the annual all-star game in Orlando, Fla.
Earning his third straight selection, Carr becomes the third quarterback in franchise history to be named to at least three Pro Bowls, joining Ken Stabler and Rich Gannon, who each earned four selections.
