ALAMEDA, Calif. – Something felt different for Derek Carr as he entered the Oakland Raiders facility Monday for the start of the offseason training program.
Gone were veterans Charles Woodson and Justin Tuck, both of whom retired after running the locker room.
“I felt older,” Carr said with a laugh. “I don’t know if it’s maturity or just a sense of, Hey, man, you’ve got to pick it up now. Pick it up where they left it.
“I don’t know what it is, exactly, but you can definitely feel it…man, it’s time to really take over.
