In an unexpected move, Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis announced that team president Marc Badain has resigned from his position effective immediately.
There was no reason given by Davis for Badain’s sudden departure after 30 years with the team. The Las Vegas Review Journal reported this, though:
Badain told me it’s time for someone else to run the the team. Expecting more from him later today on his resignation. #vegas #raiders #raidernation https://t.co/0xFTc6H2I0

Davis said in a press release that Dan Ventrelle will take over as the Raiders’ president on an interim basis to initially replace Badain.
