While Las Vegas Raiders coach Antonio Pierce has said he expects all healthy players to play in the three preseason games (which starts August 10 at the Minnesota Vikings), the work in the game will be more important for some players other than others.
Here is a look at some players who need to play well (excluding quarterback Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew, because, of course they have to both play well). These players are on this list for varying reasons, whether they’re playing for a starting job or a roster spot. The names are presented in alphabetical order:
Ameer Abdullah:
Abdullah is a backup who the Raiders have valued and they have brought him back for the third straight year.
