Monday, just hours after the team traded Amari Cooper to Dallas, they sent another of their top offensive weapons away. The team has officially placed Marshawn Lynch on injured reserve, mostly likely ending his 2018 season and perhaps more than that.
Marshawn suffered a groin injury in the team’s loss to the Seahawks in London last Sunday. After the game, Jon Gruden said they were concerned about the groin and a few days ago it was said that he would miss a month. Now he will miss at least eight weeks and perhaps the entire season.
