Not a lot new in the Raiders “stay or go” saga as it played out Tuesday at the NFL owners spring meeting at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
Raiders owner Mark Davis made sure to stop in the lobby to talk with reporters and even mingled with Raiders fans outside the hotel who were in their usual garb and carrying “Stay in Oakland” signs.
Davis explained the hiring of former 49ers exec Carmen Policy to push the Carson plan as something the Raiders and Chargers did so they could focus on their home base before turning their attention to Southern California.
