ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Derek Carr is expected to start for the Oakland Raiders against the Los Angeles Chargers at home on Sunday, two weeks after suffering a transverse process fracture in his back, and one week after EJ Manuel replaced him in a loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
But no matter who is at quarterback for the Raiders, their offensive line, the most expensive in league history, has to do a better job of protecting him.
This is especially the case against the blitz, as they failed to do in their three-game losing streak against Washington, the Denver Broncos and Ravens.
