ALAMEDA — The roll call of team captains contained few surprises with the exception of Kyle Wilber.
The seven-year veteran is listed as a linebacker by the Raiders and may play there on occasion, but his calling as an NFL player has been special teams.
“It’s called the all-trust team,” Wilber said as the Raiders completed their final practice Saturday before their regular-season opener against the Los Angeles Rams. “You’ve got to trust the man beside you to get the job done, because you’ve only got one play to do it.
