SARASOTA, Fla. — Raiders fans might have been excited when punter Marquette King picked up the ball and started running late in Sunday’s game at Jacksonville.
King almost passed out.
“After I passed the orange sticks, I got a little lightheaded and realized I’m really running the ball right now,” King said.
Oakland was up by only 10 points with 3:42 to play when the snap from Jon Condo came bouncing back to King on 4th-and-24 at its 38-yard line. King scooped up the ball and raced down the right sideline for 27 yards, setting up a 9-yard touchdown run by Latavius Murray.
