Nate Allen will not be back in Silver and Black next season.
The safety signed with the Dolphins as an unrestricted free agent Thursday after spending two seasons in Oakland.
Allen inked a one-year, $3.4 million contract with Miami, according to the Miami Herald. He was reportedly enticed largely by the location.
“I’d rather be in a more comfortable place where I’m happy and my family’s happy than the dollar signs,” Allen told the Herald. “At this point in my career, I want to enjoy (where I’m playing).”
Allen played 19 games for the Raiders since arriving as a free agent pickup in 2015, starting just seven of those.
