ALAMEDA — Defensive tackle Stacy McGee, one of the Raiders best interior pass rushers when healthy, reached agreement on a five-year free agent contract worth $25 million, according to an NFL Media report.
Shortly before the free agency period began, McGee posted a “Thank you” to Raiders fans on his Instagram account without specifying his new team.
McGee, 27, had 2.5 sacks in nine games and provided some of the only interior push the Raiders defense had, relying almost exclusively on outside rushers Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin for their NFL-low total of 25 sacks.
Injuries held back McGee, who missed seven games with an ankle problem.
