Miles Burris, the Raiders second-leading tackler in 2014, said on Monday on his Twitter account he is moving on.
“This is goodbye to Oakland, but I’m not done yet,” Burris said on his Instagram account while also thanking God, the Raiders organization and his teammates.
The Raiders have not announced Burris’ release, nor the release of wide receiver James Jones. Jones’ impeding departure was reported Sunday night by CSN-Bay Area.
Burris started all 16 games at middle linebacker in 2015 after presumptive starter Nick Roach sustained a concussion in the preseason and was never medically cleared to play.
