ALAMEDA, Calif. – Oakland Raiders standout pass-rusher Khalil Mack made it very clear Thursday afternoon: He’s playing Sunday at Denver.
“Oh, yeah, definitely,” Mack said. “I’m good.”
Mack, who has a knee injury, was a surprise absentee from practice Wednesday as the Raiders begin to prepare for Denver. He finished Sunday’s loss to Kansas City without any reported issues.
Earlier Thursday, Oakland defensive coordinator Ken Norton said Mack was “day to day.” But Mack made it clear his issues are minor.
The Raiders need Mack. He has had two sacks in each of the past two games and is showing signs of becoming the impact player Oakland drafted him to be at No.
