Rodney Hudson isn’t one to thump his chest. The Raiders center doesn’t claim to be his position’s best, nor does he say his interior offensive line ranks first among talented guard-center combos.
He could, and just might be right.
Not his style.
“You need confidence to play this game, but that doesn’t mean you have to tell everybody,” Hudson said. “You feel secure in what you do because of hard work. To say something takes seconds. Preparing takes hours and hours. That’s what we’ve done, and that’s what we’re going to do.”
He does, however, appreciate testing his mettle.
