The Raiders dominated for three quarters Sunday, then hung on to beat the Cleveland Browns 27-20 and end their 11-game road losing streak.
Oakland’s win is its first on the road since a victory at Houston on Nov. 17, 2013. The Raiders (2-1) also won in the early time slot in the Eastern time zone for the first time since 2009, snapping a 16-game losing skid, and have a winning record for the first time since they were 7-6 late in the 2011 season.
The Raiders looked to be rolling toward a sound thumping when they scored 30 seconds into fourth quarter to take a 27-10 lead.
