OAKLAND — After Matt McCrane kicked a 29-yard field goal Sunday to give Jon Gruden his first win in more than 10 years, the head coach made his way across the Coliseum infield dirt to shake hands with Hue Jackson and opposing coaches.
Then he turned around and made his way back to the tunnel leading to the Raiders locker room.
This in no way resembled the Gruden who danced in euphoria when the Raiders eliminated the Kansas City Chiefs from the playoffs to end the 1999 season. Or the guy who celebrated in the Black Hole when the Raiders finally made it to the playoffs in 2000 and beat the Miami Dolphins.
