Offense
The Raiders scored a season-high 24 points in the first half and probably win going away if Derek Carr doesn’t get hurt. He completed passes to nine receivers as Oakland overcame the lack of a running game (55 yards) for the second straight game.
Defense
The Raiders took some haymakers during Carolina’s 25-straight-points stretch, but made plays at the end to seal the deal. Bruce Irvin had pressure on the last third down and Khalil Mack sacked Cam Newton on fourth down.
Special teams
Sebastian Janikowski made both of his field-goal attempts and four of Marquette King’s five punts were good.
