Offense
It was historically bad in the first half, and the Broncos’ cornerbacks pretty much took Amari Coooper and Michael Crabtree out of the game. Derek Carr had some accuracy issues, but he got better and, without a running game, relied on throwing to tight ends to get things moving a little bit.
Defense
The Raiders held the Broncos to 34 yards rushing on 21 carries, and wouldn’t let quarterback Brock Osweiler throw the ball to the end zone. Khalil Mack had five sacks and coach Jack Del Rio said the good coverage deserved some credit for that.
