It’s Day 3 of NFL free agency and the Las Vegas Raiders have been filling needs with modest contracts. They are plenty of needs remaining and the team has many to spend.
Let’s look at some of the possible fits remaining on the market:
Asante Samuel:
The Raiders need a nickel cornerback to replace Nate Hobbs, who signed a four-year deal with Green Bay, and Samuel could be a fit. The former Chargers’ second-round pick is a solid player. He’s dealt with injuries in 2024, but he would be a nice addition
Amari Cooper:
Say what you want, but the former Raiders’ first-round pick is probably the best starting wide receiver on the market and the team is reportedly looking for a starter.
