The Las Vegas Raiders’ defensive player exodus continued Friday.
Former starting safety Marcus Epps agreed to a one-year, $4.4 million contract with the New England Patriots on Friday.
Epps joins former Las Vegas teammates, linebacker Robert Spillane and pass-rusher K’Lavon Chaisson to sign with New England this week. Spillane and Epps signed with the Raiders in 2023 when new Patriots’ offensive coordinator was Las Vegas’ head coach. The Raiders play at New England this season.
Epps is the eighth Las Vegas free agent to sign elsewhere this week. He was one of five 2024 Week 1 starters to leave.
