One of the biggest decisions of the Las Vegas Raiders’ offseason thus far was a major switch at the safety position.
The first day of free agency saw standout Tre’von Moehrig, who was considered a priority for the team, agree to a three-year, $51 million deal with the Carolina Panthers. Shortly later, the Raiders agreed to terms with safety Jeremy Chinn of the Washington Commanders. Chinn is signing a two-year, $16-plus million deal with the Raiders with about $12 million in guaranteed money.
Our readers are totally on board with the switch. We recently asked our readers if they thought taking Chinn over the more expensive, but productive Moehrig was the right move and they overwhelmingly agreed.
