Raiders free agency 2025: Bobby Wagner may make sense

Related Topics: Bobby Wagner, Oakland Raiders

Understandably, there has been a lot of attention be focused on a potential pairing of quarterback Russell Wilson and his former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll in free agency with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2025.

That makes a lot of sense, but Wilson may not be the only longtime star who would reunite with Carroll in Las Vegas.

How about linebacker Bobby Wagner?

Wagner played for Carroll in Seattle from 2012-21 and in ‘23. The two are close and Wagner is a likely Pro Football Hall of Fame player. Wagner is still playing at a high level as he was a standout for the Washington Commanders, and his former Seattle defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, while playing on a one-year deal in 2024.
