The defense started the game strong, holding Chicago to consecutive three-and-outs on their initial drives. Safety Johnathan Abram has come up big, activated on a blitz that hurried Bears rookie QB Justin Fields into throwing an incomplete pass on 3rd and long. The next drive, Abram delivered a shot that left the rookie signal caller visibly rattled.
The offense put together a nice drive, spanning 13 plays the Raiders would score first with a field goal. The 69 yard drive was marred however with a rash of holding penalties on the offensive line that called back great runs from Josh Jacobs, including what would have a TD scamper from the back who looks like his last two weeks inactive have brought a fresh step to week 5.
