Raiders quarterback Derek Carr and his teammates skipped their final organized team activity on Friday, June 9. Instead, Oakland's field general made good on his surname and beat his fellow Raiders in go-kart racing.
Head coach Jack Del Rio allowed his team a day off on what was supposed to be the final day of that-which-shall-not-be-called-practice before taking a break ahead of mandatory minicamp.
He even joined them at a Bay Area go-kart track, where Carr beat the likes of punter Marquette King, backup quarterback EJ Manuel, defensive back Shalom Luani, and, most importantly, Pro Bowl defensive end Khalil Mack.
