OAKLAND — Bay Area Raiders fans are soliciting NFL support groups across the country to help pressure owners to reject a move to Las Vegas.
With NFL owners expected to consider relocation next week in Phoenix, local Raiders supporters announced Tuesday they have merged groups to lobby fans from all other teams to help fight the move. Owner Mark Davis needs approval from 24 of the 32 owners to move to Las Vegas, where he wants to build a $1.9 billion doomed-roof stadium near the Strip.
