Las Vegas Raiders starting quarterback Aidan O’Connell is not active Monday night against the Atlanta Falcons at Allegiant Stadium. Kickoff is 5:30 p.m. PT.
He didn’t practice all week and was listed as questionable to play on Saturday, but it was considered a longshot that he would play because of a bruised knee bone he suffered in a Week 14 loss at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He worked out prior to the game, but it was determined he can only be play if the Raiders’ two active quarterbacks get injured and can’t resume play. Perhaps O’Connell will be ready to Sunday at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
