Raiders face Packers without tackle Trent Brown

The Raiders face the NFC North leading Green Bay Packers Sunday without right tackle Trent Brown.

Brown, the NFL’s highest paid offensive lineman, went into Sunday listed as “doubtful” to play and was among the players listed as inactive by the Raiders 90 minutes before kickoff.

It was apparent during warmups Brown wasn’t playing as he was reportedly wearing a team jacket and giving pointers to David Sharpe, the third-year tackle out of Florida who will presumably take his place.

Brown played every snap of the Raiders’ pre-bye win over the Chicago Bears, but according to coach Jon Gruden, injured his calf Monday on the team’s first day back after having a week off.
