Since the Alliance of American Football suspended operations yesterday, their now former players have been getting scooped up furiously by NFL teams. The Raiders got into the act on Friday, signing defensive end Alex Barrett.
The 6-3, 260-pound former San Diego State alum played in all 8 games with the San Diego Fleet, posting 2.0 sacks and 15 tackles.
Barrett went undrafted in 2017 and signed on with the Detroit Lions where he would spend two seasons, mostly on the team’s practice squad, appearing in just two games.
