The Raiders had their first practice of the week and among those not at practice today was starting cornerback turned safety, TJ Carrie according to media present at practice. The second-year defensive back injured his chest returning a punt in Sunday's game against the Bears and didn't return. His presence is crucial to the Raiders already weak secondary, so his status for next week is key.
While his official status is still unknown, Carrie said his injury isn't serious.
"I'm good, just bruised up from the game," Carrie told the Bay Area News Group.
