Multiple reports have Raiders DB coach Derrick Ansley leaving to take a job with the University of Tennessee as Co-Defensive Coordinator. As first reported by GoVols 247.
Ansley spent just one season with the Raiders under Jon Gruden. Prior to that he was the DB coach at Alabama under head coach Jeremy Pruitt.
Pruitt and Ansley have worked together several times before. First as a graduate assistant at Alabama in 2010 and 2011 when Pruitt was the defensive backs coach and again in 2016 and 2017 with Ansley as defensive backs coach when Pruitt was defensive coordinator.
