ALAMEDA — Raiders defensive tackle Darius Latham has received a four-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, the NFL announced Monday.
Latham, a second-year player who was an undrafted free agent out of Indiana, played 15 snaps in Sunday’s 30-17 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. It was Latham’s first playing time this season after sitting out the first four games on the inactive list.
Under NFL rules, Latham will leave the team and not be paid for the next four games against the Chargers, Chiefs, Bills and Dolphins and will be eligible to return to the team on Nov.
